We decided we needed a good rest day so Downieville offers almost all downhill if you shuttle to the top which we did. The town only has about 300 people and does rely a lot on mountain biking. There are several routes that are between 14 and 18 miles and we took the 16 mile option which only had 500ft of climbing on it.
