Slaughter Pen

After a 10 min drive in the car downtown to the trailhead, I started out with a lot of downhill with many features. Today's ride was more like a giant bike park with so many little drops and gaps and also very big drops and gaps. I did have to cut the ride a little short because of a thunderstorm but still was able to get in almost 13 miles with 1,100ft of climbing.

Most of the trails all had some options with a more technical line

There definitely were some pretty scary sections!

At least you had a fair warning for everything coming up.

Unfortunately, it was a workday for Erin so she missed out seeing some of the artwork

These shots were from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

All done with Bentonville onward to Santa Fe after stops in Oklahoma City and Amarillo Texas.
