After dropping Erin at the airport I drove 2.5 hours north to Big Sky. Erin's flight plans got changed and she missed connection and ended up in Philly to spend the night before flying home today. I did a 12-mile ride at Moonlight Basin which was very nice with an out and back climb to 9,000 ft.
Still a little snow at the top of some of the peaks.
Did a great loop south of Bozeman at the Moser area. 23 miles with almost 4,000 ft of climbing. Great views and trails.
Temp was chilly when I left my Airbnb at around 52 degrees. It quickly warms up here and the ride was very pleasant.
Saw the cabin and the lake.
This was listed as red singletrack on Trailforks and it was a blast.
Top of Moonlight Basin. On to Sturgis tomorrow.
