After the 4 hour drive, we just did a local trail network near town for about 12 miles.
The bike park was cool and we finished with a downhill. Excited that our friends will be joining us soon on the trip.
We did not waste any time leaving Amarillo as it did not appear to offer too much other than the Cadillac Ranch along Rt 40 on the way out of town where there are 10 are buried Cadillacs hood first in dry Texan soil.

And then we arrived in Santa Fe where the temp was 80 and pleasant.
